About

Born and bred in Pōneke, Aotearoa (Wellington, New Zealand), my photographs are a collection of random observations, mostly of abandoned objects and old or decaying structures.

They conjure up sadness for the forgotten flotsam of life, a celebration of survival and a yearning for another time and place... a jog of the memory for days, people and objects gone by.

My more recent projects include a personal walk down memory lane with the quintessential state houses across Aotearoa New Zealand. This culminated in a self-published book, State Houses: A Roadside View

The Lockdown: Observations from my Gate book was the result of sitting in my front window seat during our nationwide lockdown, and observing life beyond the gate from the sanctuary of my home.
